Lens Care Products

Proper lens care is very important for proper eye care.

Wave lenses perform best with soaking and cleaning solutions that do not "clog" the hundreds of tiny curves that make them so special. Optimum Solutions are what we recommend.

GP Contact Lens Care Tips

Always follow your the instructions your Eye Care Professional has given you.

Follow the cleaning and soaking instructions from the manufacturer.

Vigorously wash your hands before handling your contact lenses. (An obvious reminder.)

Rinse and dry your contact lens case once your lenses are removed. Replace every two to three months.

Never let anyone else "try" your lenses.

Why Are Optimum Solutions Better?

Optimum GP lens care solutions offer allergy-free care, for more comfort and cleanliness. They are preserved with purified benzyl alcohol, or are preservative-free.

They do not contain polyquad, BAK, chlorhexidine or polyaminopropylbiguanide, to which many contact lens wearers are sensitive.

Optimum Ceaning/Disinfecting/Storage Solution (CDS): This sterile solution is used for rigid gas permeable (RGP) and hard contact lenses. It cleans, disinfects, and provides sterile, hydrating storage, preventing lens warpage and adherence of contaminants to the lens surface.

Optimum 'Extra Strength' Cleaner (ESC): Also for RGP and hard contact lenses, this sterile, non-preserved solution rids lenses of surface deposits, oils, lipids, salts and cosmetic residue. It doesn't use abrasives, which can alter lenses. Without polymeric solvents, it rinses easily.

Optimum Wetting and Rewetting Drops (WRW): Before inserting your RGP/hard lenses, try wetting them with this solution, which contains polymeric wetting and cushioning agents. You can also place one or two drops directly into your eye during lens wear, to rehydrate the lens for longer wear and more comfort.
